Reindeer Dash 5k & 10k

Lace up your running shoes in early December for one of the biggest fundraisers on the Treasure Coast. Rudolph’s Reindeer Dash is sponsored by the Junior League of Martin County. The family-friendly event includes a 5k run and a 10k run. The event, which winds through Downtown Stuart, welcomes runners and walkers, including those with strollers and pets. Food vendors will also be set up in Memorial Park, plus you’ll find a Santa photobooth and a fun run just for kids. Whether you’re participating or just watching, be sure to come to the run decked out in holiday spirit.

Santa’s Circus!

It’s not your traditional program, but it is a high-flying Christmas-themed adventure taking the stage at The Lyric Theatre in early December. Santa’s Circus is presented by the Preston Contemporary Dance Theatre. The show appeals to kids and adults alike. Be prepared to watch reindeer fly, snowmen spin, and elves twirl around the stage during this unique holiday-themed performance.

Carnival of Lights

The Carnival of lights is already underway in Stuart, which provides plenty of fun for the entire family. This annual event runs each weekend evening through the third week in December. It’s free for kids ages 10 and under to attend, plus parking is also free. The event includes visits with Santa, some model trains, live entertainment, a food drive, and, of course, some spirited Christmas lights! The event also offers a petting zoo and some carnival rides for an extra fee.

A Christmas Carol at The Lyric Theatre
